Academics discussing the impact of the Corona crisis for the City of Amsterdam

Since the corona crisis, the City of Amsterdam is -like the rest of the world- facing a new kind of reality. The crisis has had a huge effect on the city. New challenges and existing problems have come to the foreground. To better understand the crisis in relation to the city of Amsterdam, 12 academics were asked to discuss the impact of COVID-19 along the themes of Governing in times of crisis, Public health, Social cultural disintegration, Opportunities and equality, Long-term transitioning and investing, and the Labor market. The findings are presented in this Dutch document published by the City of Amsterdam and meant as a guide and decision aid for forming a strategy in dealing with this new situation.
